The former Foreign Minister and now MP of the Democratic Party, Tritan Shehu, defended the agreement that he had signed with Greece in 2009, with the Berisha government.

Shehu said on Top Story that the agreement was a good one and it received unfair political attacks.

Shehu says that the agreement would have strengthened Albania’s position and they would have continued to regulate the land border with Greece.

The Democratic Party MP insists that the Berisha-Karamanlis of 2009 will serve as a model for the new agreement.
