The Democratic Party MP, Oerd Bylykbashi, held a press release in which he responded to his Socialist Party colleague, Vasilika Hysi, who had appealed the opposition to vote the law for the magistrate school acceptance quota, a law that requires 84 parliamentary votes, which the government doesn’t have.

Bylykbashi said that the opposition had already warned that these problems with the Justice System would appear one day.

“You needed two years to understand the problems that we warned. You and your collagues need to take responsibility for the catastrophic mess with the justice system, which you caused by ignoring the opposition”, Bylykbashi said.

The opposition sees that law of the for the magistrate school quota as an effort of the government to capture the justice system in a long term, which is currently in a collapse, with the Supreme Court and Constitutional Court paralyzed by the absence of members.

Bylykbashi underlined in his declaration that Albania is the only NATO member and EU candidate that doesn’t have a Supreme Court and a Constitutional Court.
