The interior Minister Bujar Nishani and the Swiss ambassador, Yvana
Enzler, signed a cooperation agreement for improving the functioning of
the local government with a financing of 4.5 million EUR.
“The Swiss have decentralization in their genes, they were born in it. We have knowledge about this issue, and we are very happy to share it with our Albanian friends. The project will be realized in Shkoder and Lezhe. There is also an important element regarding the improvement of the experience in a national level”, declared ambassador Enzler.
As for the minister Nishani, this project is an opportunity for the local administration to benefit through competitive grants.
