After meeting with her Albanian counterpart, Coratian President Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic, who is attending a two-day visit in our country, underlined the friendship between the Albanian and Croatian people.
“Croatia and Albania have an old friendship and this can be proven by many important historic moments. I thank our Croatian friends who have supported us without conditions in Albania’s EU integration process”, Meta said in a press release, not forgetting to congratulate the Croatian counterpart for the success in the World Cup.
Mrs. Kitarovic underlined the Albanian-Croatian friendship and said that today’s discussion is about reinforcing cooperation between both countries.
“Albania was Croatia’s friend where friends were few. Our dialogue was born in our early years of independence. Today we discussed about reinforcing the cooperation between both countries. From 18,000 Albanians who live in Albania, 2500 volunteered in the war. Some died and others disappeared”, Kitarovic said.
