Prime Minister Edi Rama said today that the manufacturing and call center busimess were found to not adhere to the rules and safeguarding standards against the spread of the new coronavirus, so they will be closed up to a second announcement.

“This extreme measure will slow down the spreading of the enemy into our bodies and will be followed by others. Today we have undertaken a series of inspections at the manufacturing and call center companies, which will be closed tomorrow and by the end of this deadline.
If when they begin the activity we find that they have failed to comply with their obligations to protect employees, the companies will be held liable for their own negligence. At least at this stage the plan there are no ‘force majeure’ justifications, ”Rama said.
