It is not difficult to know how it is possible that in the middle of
the town of Permet, within the walls of the Culture Center, there is a
church being built; without constructing permission and, above all, by
demolishing a building that is a Culture Center by a court decision.
And this construction cannot be stopped by the Municipal Police, the Construction Police or the State Police, because owner of this building is the municipality itself. Three times has this municipality requested from the Municipal Council to approve the town’s Reconstruction Plan, which provides interventions at the Culture Center building, but it was always rejected.
In this situation, the Permet Municipality has violated the court order by issuing an unofficial order for starting the reconstruction of the Culture Centre building’s roof.
Top Channel was able to secure exclusive images from what is happening inside the Culture Center “Naim Frasheri”, where a church is illegally being built.
The inside of the building has been completely demolished, and the construction of another building has started. This can be easily seen by the 10 concrete columns raised several meters from the ground. Everything is celar. A church is illegally being built inside the wall of the “Naim Frasheri” Culture Center.
Profiting by the chaos of the current political situation, heads of Permet Orthodox Church – amongst which is the priest Vasil Thomollari, involved in a scandal of grave violation in Kosina – are making a construction by challenging the Albanian justice, which has given a final decision on this case.
