During the ceremony that officially launched Socialist Party’s May 8th local election campaign, SP allies spoke on the podium to the voters.

Socialist Democratic Party leader, Skënder Gjinushi, accused right centered alliance leaders of corruption.

“Berisha with his left hand, and Meta with his right hand, joined together to steal with both hands. Albanians are convinced that corruption has only one color, the color of greed. Therefore, on May 8th, the citizens will vote our alliance. The governing mob accuses left parties of corruption, but they forget that the only accused ones have been on their side”, Gjinushi declared.

Social Democratic Party leader appraised Edi Rama’s local governing and invited the citizens to give the “governing mob” what they deserve.

“Edi Rama has achieved success governing Tirana. Our victory will be reconfirmed on May 8th and hundreds of communes will join Tirana”, Gjinushi confirmed.

Spartak Ngjela, Law and Justice Party leader, a party without Parliamentary presence, valued the Albanian’s battle for free vote.

“Your battle in these 18 months for the free vote and other rights, will remain in the Albanian Political History as the first step towards a normal democracy in the country”, Ngjela declared.

He expressed his conviction that May 8th elections will sign the end of Berisha’s “tyranny”, who, according to him, aims to keep the country in regression.

“These elections will test our moral, and our victory will be the end of Berisha’s tyranny. This is an end and I am sure about this, as I am sure for you. This so called Prime Minister is trying to commit an irreparable division between Albanians, by not allowing its economic development”, Ngjela added.
