Cakaj: Croatia supports Albania’s EU accession negotiations

The acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, attended a meeting with the Croatian PM, Andrej Plenkovic in Zagreb.

Cakaj wrote on social networks that the meeting focused on implementing and revitalizing the objectives that are part of the strategic partnership signed between Albania and Croatia, and on offering a more dynamic approach to the infrastructure inter-connection, economic development and security policies.

“Croatia supports the opening of the EU accession negotiations for Albania, and they will be a powerful voice not only in the council but also during their presidency int he EU”, Cakaj declared.
