Bushati: “9/11 changed the world that we knew. We will fight terror together”

The Albanian Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ditmir Bushati, said that the 9/11 attacks will always be remembered in the history of humanity as the events that changed the security situation in the world, and that started the strong battle against global terror.
For the Albanian Foreign Minister, the 9/11 tragedy is an attack not only against the USA but against the values of a society that is based on the principles of liberal democracy.
“The terror acts of 9/11/2001, when thousands of people died, did change the world that we knew. The attacks of 17 years ago were not only against the USA, but also against peace, security, co-existence and the values of a society that is based on liberal democracy. Fighting against terror is not and will not be easy, but there is no other alternative rather than facing it together”, Bushati wrote.
