Berisha’s escort car crashed

One of the Prime Minister’s escort cars has crashed near Shen Vasil, Saranda, around 15:00. Two persons were injured.
The injured are the 43 year old Alfred Naçi and the 60 year old photographer for the Ministry, Meksi Xhufka, who had neck damages.
Both were immediately transported at the local “Petro Nako” hospital and are out of danger. For this reason it was not necessary to transport them to Tirana by helicopter.
The two injured were visited by the Prime Minister Sali Berisha, who returned back to Saranda after the accident.
According to the experts, the cause of the accident was the high speed and weather conditions.
