After closing the electoral campaign in the main cities of the country,
the Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, returned in Lushnje to
convince more citizens to vote Albert Sanxhaku, for a second mandate in
this municipality.
“The dictatorship kept us far from Europe, far from our natural richness. We are determined today, day after day and year after year to transform the endless richness of Lushnje and Albania into values for you, the Lushnje citizens, and for all Albanians. We are determined with our hard work, our commitment and our vision, to build in Lushnje the most beautiful Europe, the Europe of the hard working people, of the dignified people, of the free people. My promise for you is that in the four years to come, Lushnje will be a developed city, and Albania, a developed country”, Berisha said.
The Prime Minister said that the alternative offered by the opposition is the alternative of the past.
“The only way was the slogan that was repeated in every page, in every article and TV program of the dictator Enver Hoxha. Let us leave the nostalgic people at the only way, and let us follow the way that unites us. Let us follow our common effort for a European Lushnje, a European Albania. For us, you come first, your children come first. Victory!”, Berisha said.
