Berisha announces Basha’s candidacy for Tirana

The Albanian Democratic Party commemorated today March 22, the first day when Albanian opposition came into power. Berisha declared that March 22 is the day of democracy and when we should take the oath to keep moving this mission forward.
Berisha referred to May 8 elections saying that the Democratic Party will compete to win.
During this rally, the Democratic Party also announced the candidacy of the Interior Minister, Lulëzim Basha, for the Tirana City Mayor.
“We want free and honest elections for you, your mothers and fathers, your sisters and brothers. Let us turn May the 8-th into the big celebration of the free vote.” Berisha said.
