Basha: Will accept any result

The candidate of “Alliance for the Citizen”, Lulzim Basha, said in his
first public appearance after the conclusion of the vote counting
process, that he is ready to accept any result.
Basha declared that he is waiting the results of the Central Election Commission (CEC) and that the winner of these elections is yet undeclared.
Basha said that if Edi Rama would be the winner, he would congratulate him for the victory. But if the winner would be Basha himself, he declared that he expected the opposition leader to congratulate him.
“These elections were honest and free, but this is a very narrow race. Whoever the winner might be, I will accept the result. I hope that Mr. Rama will do the same”, Basha declared.
“Central Election Comission is still calculating the results. We still don’t know who the winner is. For respecting the will of the people, I remain determined to allow every vote to be counted correctly. If Rama will be the winner at the end of this process, I will congratulate him. But if I will be the winner, I hope that Mr. Rama will congratulate me too”, Basha declared.
