Basha: “Rama’s partnership with Tahiri was just proven”

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, reacted after the Socialist
members of the Commission did not vote to remove the immunity of former
Minister Saimir Tahiri, claiming that there was not enough evidence.
“It was proven today that Rama and Tahiri are one. They have shared the money of crime and the power won with those. This is why Rama will protect Tahiri until the end”, Basha declared.
Basha accused Parliament Speaker Gramoz Ruci and Interior Minister Fatmir Xhafaj of turning police stations into logistic bases for traffickers, and that they will threaten anyone who tries to bring Tahiri to justice.
“Today they used violence against prosecutors, showing that they are a real threat for the country”, Basha said, telling citizens that justice will come.
“Rama and Tahiri will not escape justice. We have partners and friends who revealed Tahiri, and we will not stop here”, Basha said.
