Basha: “Rama, last obstacle for an European Albania”

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, declared that Edi Rama is the last obstacle for the country’s European Integration. Basha mentioned the main condition for opening the accession negotiations, which, according to Basha, Rama is unable to fulfil.
“Rama is not fighting crime. Rama is nor bringing to justice those who were caught in the act, such as Saimir Tahiri. Rama is not catching the so-called Escobar of Balkan, who circulates freely from Tirana to Saranda and is being honoured rather than being arrested by police and corrupt officers, who are under his wing even today. He is sacrificing the European Albania for the sake of his connections with crime, for his fear and for his power”, Basha declared.
The opposition leader said that now that former Interior Minister Saimir Tahiri was replaced with Fatmir Xhafaj, the only thing that has changed is the type of drug that is being trafficked. Europe has made it clear to him that if he doesn’t fight crime, Albania will not be in Europe. But Rama and Xhafa just laugh and replace the clan of the Habilaj with the one of Agron Xhafaj. With Rama, police and its leaders has turned into traffickers and sellers of cocaine”, Basha declared.
