The Bank of Albania has officially opened the “Money Week”, a series of activities that focus on financial education.
Governor Gent Sejko said that this year is of special importance, because it marks a decade of commitment in the financial education area, especially for younger generations.
During the ceremony, in which there were representatives from private banks, the Governor said that this effort aims to raise awareness among the young generation to become responsible and able for well-thought financial decisions.
The period from March 12th to March 18th is officially known as the Week of Money and is celebrated in 125 countries of the region.
