The head of EU Foreign Policy, Catherine Ashton, is continuing her visit
in Belgrade, meeting high-rank officials of the country.
Ashton met the Interior Minister, Ivica Dacic, with whom she talked about dialogue with Kosovo, expressing her support for both countries.
The meeting with President Boris Tadic was shadowed by the news for the arrest of former general Ratko Mladic, raising doubts if it was a coincidence or not.
In a joint press conference, Tadic declared that this has been a long day, but with an extraordinary success.
After the arrest of the notorious general, police has increased security levels in Belgrade and prohibited all rallies for an undefined period of time.
However, the situation appears to be calm.
