39 arrested, 12 on the run for trafficking illegal immigrants to USA, Canada and Britain

The State Police gave details about the mega-operation that led to the arrest of 39 people, while 12 others are on the run.

General Chief of Police, Ardi Veliu, declared that seven criminal groups have sent 1000 persons to the USA and Canada.

The trafficked persons paid 7000 British pounds for Britain, and 25,000 to 30,000 in USA and Canada.

Among the arrested there are four police officers as well, three at the Qafe Thana customs, one in Han i Hotit.
