The city of Korca commemorated today the 132nd anniversary of the first school in Albanian language.
Collectors Niko Kotherja and Mirgen Shamblli created a special exhibition at the building where the first lessons were held by Stefan Kondillari.
Stefan Kondillari, the Albanian intellectual from Korca, received great offers from the King of Bulgaria, but he chose to stay in Albania and to open the first school in the Albanian language.
