Ermal Hoxha, the nephew of the former dictator, Enver Hoxha, is accused
of international drug traffic of cocaine, after the police busted a lab
in Xibraka, Elbasan. He has challenged the court’s decision at the
Supreme Court and has demanded to be free.
The Court of Serious Crimes sentenced nine people who were involved in the drug traffic, including the nephew of the former dictator, who appealed the decision on February. But the Court of Serious crimes decided to leave him in prison.
The Prosecution has raised six accusations against nine defendants of the cocaine gang, including “participation in a structured criminal crime” and “international traffic of narcotics”.
