Prime Minister Edi Rama has published images from the works for the construction of the new Tirana-Durrës Railway, which started a few days ago.
This investment will make the trip from Tirana to the coastal city last 22 minutes, and will also shorten the road to Rinas airport, which will last only 12 minutes.
“Work begins for the new Tirana-Durrës Railway with the removal of the old rails”, Rama writes in his post on social networks.
The project for the construction of the railway will be implemented by the Italian company INC Spa, which was announced as winner a year ago for the 69.7 million euros tender.
