The World Bank project for the energetic revival was planned to be completed by November 20th, but delays caused the postponement with a year.
During the summer 2014, Albania received a 150 million USD soft loan from the World Bank, with the purpose to reduce the losses in the distribution network, increase profits and improve the financial indicators.
The final objective of this project was to reduce losses to 14% within 2019, but it remains 24%, far from the agreed target.
