There is the possibility to have an agreement with Kosovo, but at what cost?

The Guardian writes that Vucic would accept Kosovo’s independence if Serbia takes something concrete in exchange.

In an interview given this week in Belgrade for the British newspaper, Vucic said that he trusts opening a short window of six months or a year which could lead to signing an agreement.

“We are ready to discuss every possible matter. We are ready to take in consideration every proposition that requires compromised solutions if Serbia receives something in exchange”, he says.

There are five European countries that do not recognize Kosovo’s independence mainly because such movement could create dangerous precedents for their own territorial conflicts.

Brussels hopes in a deal between Kosovo and Serbia, so that the former can join the UN and both countries continue their path towards EU.
