The President of Serbia, Alexandar Vucic, met with the ambassadors of China and Russia, and with the “Quint” Ambassadors in Belgrade, after Kosovo decided to increase taxes to Serbian goods with 100%.

The President of Serbia, Alexandar Vucic, said that this tax is a severe violation of the CEFTA rules: “Dialogue has rules that need to be respected”, he said.

“We must sit and discuss a matter of compromise. You need to negotiate with us. Americans, or anyone else, will not help you”, Vucic said.

The Prime Minister of Kosovo responded that they cannot behave otherwise, as Serbia is blocking Kosovo.

“We have witnessed how Kosovo has been blocked for a long time now. It has not been allowed to enjoy the rights of CEFTA. We were blocked through the origin of the goods, transportation and every other instrument. CEFTA did not work between Serbia and Kosovo”, Haradinaj said.
