Vlora fishermen urge for higher consumption of invasive blue crab

Blue crab is a very tasty sea food element, but not as good for the ecosystem of the Albanian sea, where they have been thriving for the past 17 years.

Blue crabs are now so large in numbers that the existence of other species is at risk. For this reason, the Vlora fishermen are asking for measures to be taken, including catching and consuming them in masses.
