Vetting of Police forces. Those who fail will no longer be part of the law enforcement agencies

The Vetting of Police will be held at the Palace of Congresses, starting with the first person in charge of the Albanian Police, Ardi Veliu, the Chief of the Albanian State Police.

The Vetting will inspect 13.000 employees. It has started a few days ago with the first 45 cases.

The Deputy Interior Minister, Julian Hodaj, said that there is a total of 245 employees from the highest posts that will go through the firsts phases of the vetting, which goes through three criteria: wealth, image and professional abilities.
