The municipality of Tirana finalized the rehabilitation of a 1.6 hectare residential area, by transforming it.
Mayor Veliaj said that people in this neighborhood had left their villages in Kolonja and Devoll, but they weren’t feeling like they were living in Tirana.
“They didn’t have illumination at all, now they have LED lights. We have done more works underground, actually. They used to collect their water with buckets. Now, the new asphalt and the decorative walls have turned their homes in legalized villas”, Veliaj said.
