Veliaj received Italian Senator, D’Alfonso: “A reference point for good governance”

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, received the Italian Senator, Luciano D’Alfonso, who used to be president of the Abruso Region, and Mayor of Pescara, where a large number of Albanians reside.
Both politicians discussed further cooperation, encouraging Italian investments in Albania and exchanging experiences in various areas.
Senator Luciano D’Alfonso valued the transformations made to the city of Tirana and underlined that Mayor Veliaj represents a reference point not only in a national but also international level, as regards good governing.
He praised Tirana’s progress in improving the infrastructure, stating that there is a better business climate in the city for attracting more foreign investments.
