The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, inspected the construction works at the Dhimiter Shuteriqi Road at Municipal Unit 5.
Veliaj said that the houses of this area, built during the transition period, are now legalized, and the infrastructure improvement will further increase their value.
The municipality, with the understanding of the local community, has also built lower surrounding walls and railing.
Veliaj appealed drivers to respect the speed limit in residential areas, and invited citizens to apply for the Community Fund, an initiative that has given good results in many neighborhoods of the city, by improving the life quality.
