Tirana has a new space for innovation and robotics, where children can be educated to encourage creativity and learn on innovation.

“Everyone wants change, wants things to get done, but no one volunteers to do it. I am certain that each of the children will find themselves here, but I think it is more important to understand that this is a great opportunity that maybe not all children of Albania have. I am happy that we see here children from different communities”, Mayor Veliaj said.

He promised to keep supporting such initiatives, which will have a special area in the budget: “The budget of Tirana will have a special fund for this challenge. Then it will be up to you how to use it. You may use it as a scholarship, or to increase the capacities and the program that you offer. But we want you to become part of a success story that started today”, the Mayor said, adding that the Pyramid will soon be turned into the biggest youth centre in the region, serving as a space that will exchange ideas and initiatives, an incubator for new businesses in IT.
