USA: January 21st needs full accounting of events

On the second anniversary of the tragic events of January 21, 2011, the
United States Embassy in Tirana declared that this event cannot be
forgotten and they appealed for a full accounting of the events.
“The United States Embassy again expresses its condolences to the family members of those who were killed and injured”, the Embassy writes on its official web page.
“They were all victims of senseless and inexcusable violence. Now more than ever, the need exists for a full accounting of the January 21 events through a credible judicial process free from political interference.”, the embassy emphasizes in their statement.
The Embassy also appealed the Albanian politicians and government:
“On this day for peaceful remembrance, we call upon all political leaders and government institutions to work assiduously to inspire the Albanian people to believe in their democracy by strengthening the rule of law.”
The declaration can be interpreted as a clear signal against the delays of the January 21st so far.
