US, EU, OSCE welcome the election agreement: Brings Albania closer to the EU

The ambassadors of the United States of America, the European Union, Great Britain and the OSCE, who played a key role in the difficult negotiations between the parties, welcomed today the agreement reached on the upcomig elections and said that it brings Albania closer to the EU. Meanwhile a congratulatory message came from the EU Commissioner for Enlargement.
After signing the agreement, the ambassadors gave their statements to the media.
US Ambassador Yuri Kim: We are very pleased that this agreement was reached after many hours of discussions. Every person on all sides has contributed and sacrificed by giving up something. They did this to make Albania a beneficiary. Some will criticize this agreement, but if we look at it in a broader context, everyone will give their support afterwards.
EU Ambassador Soreca: We have welcomed this agreement. On behalf of the EU, I want to say that Albania is closer to the EU. This is because one of the conditions for the opening of negotiations will be met. This comes at a very good time as the EC will be the basis for negotiations. ”
British Ambassador Norman: This is a very good day after many negotiations. Everyone had to give up something. The agreement was made possible after a desire for compromise.
