The judiciary addressed to the ballot boxes and chose the new names that
will fill the vacancies left by the two members whose mandate at the
High Council of Justice expired.

More than 300 judges have cancelled their judicial processes in the entire country to be present in the National Judicial Conference, from which they elected as Artan Broci and Astrit Haxhialushi as HCJ members.

As in all voting sessions, the judiciary elections did not escape the harsh race characteristics, such as delays of the results and runoffs.

The voting procedure had two phases, initially due to the runoff, resulting with only one winner, Judge Artan Broci, with 201 votes. Judges Astrit Haxhialushi and Zegjine Sollaku were in runoff.

After voting again, Astrit Haxhialushi won with 199 votes.
