Parliament Speaker Jozefina Topalli met her Japanese homologue, Takahiro Jokomihi, during her two-day visit in Japan.
Being the first visit of an Albanian Parliament Speaker in Japan, the Head of the Japanese House of Representatives considered the presence of Mrs. Topalli has the laying of a foundation for further concrete cooperation in the Parliamentary activity, which helps the further approach of both countries and the reinforcement of the economic cooperation.
The Japanese Parliament Speaker underlined that the Business Chamber will transmit the message that Albania offers interesting potentials for the Japanese investors.
During her visit in Tokyo, Mrs. Topalli held another meeting with the Japanese Minister of Economy, Yukio Edano, with whom she talked the opportunities that Albania offers to foreign investors.
The encouragement of Japanese companies to invest in Albania was one of the main topics in the meeting between the Albanian Parliament Speaker with the deputy Minister of the Japanese Foreign Ministry.
They stated that Albania has good cooperation opportunities in infrastructure, energy, tourism, agriculture and mineral extraction.
