Top Channel’s investigative show “Fiks Fare” denounced a corrupt affair at the highest levels of government in Kosovo, where the Minister of Economy Blerim Kuçi is the winner of the tender for the construction of a hospital in Prizren.

The company Hidroterm, with 100% capital of the Minister of Economy has won this tender worth about 5 million euros for the construction of the hospital “Nena e femija”.

The tender procedure lasted about 1 year, as there were many complaints from participating operators.

Blerim Kuçi has been the Minister since June.

The ‘trusted person’ who currently manages 100% of the capital of the company Hidroterm, is Blerta Kuçi, daughter of Minister Blerim Kuçi.

The fact that the daughter is the Director of the company, contradicts the law on Conflict of Interest in point 1.7 where is clearly stated that “A trusted person cannot be the spouse, the child of an official or other person with a direct relationship, even indirect.

Whether or not there is a conflict of interest will be the Anti-Corruption Agency which can take this issue to the investigative bodies.
