Tirana Mayor honors WWII martyrs at “Mother Albania” monument

The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, placed wreaths at the “Mother Albania” monument, where all state leaders honoured WWII martyrs on the National Liberation Day.
On November 29th, 1944, the last city in Albania was liberated from the Nazi occupation, after the Antifascist National Liberation War.
Present in the ceremony were President Ilir Meta, Prime Minister Edi Rama, Speaker Gramoz Ruci, Ministers, MPs, veterans and relatives of martyrs.
