The Municipality of Tirana has organized the Christmas Dinner for people in need who frequent social centres.
“Christmas is the day when love wins over hate when hope wins over fear when light wins over darkness. I believe that in our 1-million-citizen city, which has a lot of problems but also a lot of love, we can do wonderful things. I am happy that our social centres have been working at full capacity for the past two years and a half. Not only to just serve food but also to make friends and talk about problems”, the Mayor said.
Veliaj invited the Tirana citizens to be generous and help people with fewer chances.
“Every Albanian and every citizen of Tirana should help a neighbour or someone else in need. I think we can have a wonderful city”, he said.
