Tirana celebrates Summer Day. Municipality organizes special events

Tirana, the Capital of Albania, has welcomed the Summer Day with
citizens flocking the main boulevards and parks, where the Municipality
of Tirana and the Albanian government had organized separated festive
events. |
The activities started with the army’s musical band, and continued with the Ensemble of Songs and Dances, the Instrumentalists of the “Jordan Misja” Artistic Lyceum, and with the National Puppet Theater.
Erion Veliaj, Minister of Youth and Social Welfare: I hope it will bring good luck to all Albanians. I am happy that we have days when there is more than political fights. The people who are here want to have a calm life.
Nora Malaj, Minister of Education and Sports: “I think that this is a very important day, which brings out the negative energies and brings in the positive ones.
Although the decor was the same eevn this year, the Tirana Municipality has organized a series of events on the main square of Tirana, such as the Flower Carpet, the Ecological Fair, artistic performances, culinary promotion stands and acrobatic shows.
After congratulating the citizens of Elbasan, Basha visited the events of the Albanian capital.
