The committee gathered at the Shkodra prefecture canceled the permit given to the Nesimi Construction 78 for exploiting the Dibra Thermal Waters.
The decision was based on irregularities found with the permit issued by the council, which wasn’t aware of the real ownership of the object.
The decision caused protests in Dibra, with residents arguing that the exploitation of a private company would damage dozens of hotels and family businesses in the area, but also the environment.
