The United Opposition announced the goal they aim to achieve with the Political Council, created for the electoral reform.
The DP, SMI and their allies, have drafted a seven-point plan that covers from the functionality of the Political Council to the priorities of its work.
The opposition reiterates several times the need for good political will in implementing rules that are already established.
The United Opposition members say they are committed to discussing a reform for all political parties, which should affect many things, from the transparency of financial funds in electoral campaigns to rules that could guarantee democratic decision-making within parties.
The opposition also wants to establish an electoral system that allows citizens to freely vote for the people who will represent them, and also to have a Constitutional reform that could improve the accountability of public leaders.
