The process of filling the asset forms for the 35 candidates qualified as agents of the new judicial body, the National Bureau of Investigation, has been completed.
The statements were submitted by the candidates by e-mail to the commission of the National Bureau of Investigation.
The members of the commission will verify their assets and those of their family members, while sources close to the commission suggest that not all of the candidates have filled in the assets declarations in accordance to the law.
Article 6 of the Law on Justice Reform specifies this specialized section of the judicial police functions under the auspices of the Special Prosecution body, in order to maintain an operational and informational relationship with other police services, especially for operations that require a lot of work, such as surprise checks, surveillance or arrest operations. The judicial police services also depend on the Special Prosecution.
