The friendly match between Italy and Albania was considered by the Italian press as a sign of civilization by the Albanian fans.
The match was held in an atmosphere of solidarity. The revenues from the tickets and TV rights will serve for rebuilding the sportive premises of Genoa, which were damaged by the floods.
The specialized press values the technical side of the team led by the Italian coach, De Biasi, considering Albania as a difficult opponent. It’s not by chance, the Italian press say, that Albania has a good position for the “France 2016” European championship.
A special space is dedicated to the fans. The newspapers write that the fans were the ones who won this match, noting that the Italian team didn’t have enough fans.
The Albanian fans won the race for solidarity by answering massively to the appeals for help. From 26.000 fans that were present in the stadium, 16.000 were Albanians and showed their civility, according to Gazzetta Dello Sport.
Some Albanian fans were seen singing the Albanian anthem and also the Italian one.
