The “Doshi-Frroku-Bami” case passes to Constitutional Court

The Doshi-Frroku-Bami case will be reviewed by the Constitutional Court.
This is the decision of the Supreme Court, which sent the case to the
Constitutional Court.

The cause for this was the position of the two defendants, former MP Mark Frroku and citizen Durim Bami.

Since they were sent for trial to the Supreme Court for their first session, due to the high rank of the MP, the Supreme Court saw the decision to appeal the verdict and disputable.

The rapporteur of the judge panel, Ardian Nuni, was present in this session and asked parties if the criminal code goes against the Constitution.

While Prosecutors said that the case between the three defendants was over false testimony in cooperation, for this case this right has not been denied.

The lawyers of the three defendants asked for the Constitutional Court to explain this situation.

This means that until the Supreme Court expresses itself, the trial will remain suspended while the Prosecution General will hold its stance for MP Tom Doshi, former MP Mark Frroku, and Durim Bami, all accused over false testimony.
