The Court of Serious Crimes confirmed the arrest measure for the former
Mayor of Diber, who was discharged a few days ago over power abuse and
passive corruption.

Xhelili was reported by a 20-year-old woman who claims that he asked sexual favors in exchange for a job.

The Albanian government discharged the Dibra Mayor, right after Ora News published the video-scandal, in which Xhelili is seen signing the work contract and meeting the girl in a Tirana hotel.
