For the first time in the parliamentary elections on April 25, electronic identification will be enabled.
The CEC held today the final test of electronic devices that will be distributed throughout Albania in 5200 polling stations.
The final testing on 60 devices was conducted with the data of 500 random voters from different polling stations.
Officials added that in case of problems during the identification process in the April 25 elections, the device will be replaced within two hours, as specified in the contract with the American company Smartmatich.
