The former Minister of Interior, Saimir Tahiri, completed his testimony at the Prosecution of Serious Crimes, after an invitation made by the group of prosecutors who are investigating his case.
Tahiri declared that he had asked them to question him and give details about the case, so that they could go to the truth the soonest possible.
“I was ready to go to the end of it. I wanted a quick and thorough investigation”, Tahiri declared.
The former Minister added that he had never been asked for the testimony of prosecutors.
This Wednesday, the Parliament refused the request of the Albanian Prosecution General to limit Saimir Tahiri’s freedom to move, but authorized them to inspect his residence and personal objects.
