Suspicions that hitman was hired for murdering police officer

The Prosecution of Tirana has strong suspicions that the murder of the
former police officer, Ajet Zeqaj, could be done by a hired hitman.

The suspicions are based on the victim’s past, who had returned from France this February and was observed by the killer until he was killed in Tirana.

The investigators say it may be a retaliation crime for a possible debt or drug deal. Another lead are his in-laws, with whom he had a property conflict after a rough divorce.
