The health state of Ballsh oil workers has deteriorated on the fifth day of their hunger strike, in protest of arrears of wages and the resumption of work.
One of the strikers, Aleksandër Mejdani, was taken to Ballsh hospital.
He was transported in a vehicle of his colleagues, as he had heart problems. Although he is receiving medical assistance, Aleksandër Mejdani says that after he recovers, he will return to the hunger strike.
The day before the strikers refused medical help.
The oil workers are determined to stay on hunger strike until they receive the due wages estimated by the unionists at around 8m euros in total.
