The RENEA Special Forces have recorded the incident that led to the fatal shootout with the Greek extremist, Katsifa.
The victim, according to the RENEA report, had fired against the Gjirokastra Police officers of the “Shqiponja” division, which arrived before RENEA.
Special forces have made a quick recognition of the area and an operation plan for localizing and detaining the 35-year-old.
After 30 minutes, Katsifa refused to respond to the RENEA negotiator and hand himself over. Instead, he fired once again against the police. The RENEA officers returned the fire.
