The parliamentary group of the Socialist Party in power is preparing the proposal with the penalities for the deputies of the Democratic Party, who blocked the work of the parliament on Thursday and caused incidents in the protest they labeled as ‘civil disobedience’.
Sources from the SP confirmed for Top Channel that the proposal for punishment will include deputies Elda Hoti, Petrit Doda and Albana Vokshi.
In the plenary Thursday’s session, Hoti was accused by the socialists of having a bottle of gasoline with which she tried to light a fire inside the Assembly hall.
While Hoti himself said that what she poured in the Assembly was “flavoring liquid”.
“It was nothing that could endanger your life, it was flavoring, let the Prosecutor’s Office evaluate it before threatening me and my colleagues, we have a mission and our mission to protect the citizens”, said Hoti.
Meanwhile, in another incident MPs Albana Vokshi, Elda Hoti and Petrit Doda blocked the podium and did not allow the head of the KLSH, Arben Shehu, to read his report.
“I know you’re embarrassed, but you can’t speak now”, the opposition MP told Shehu, and after this situation, he left the hall by the order of Speaker Spiropali, who said that the reading will continue in the parliamentary committee.
